The historic Village of Scottsville is located in Monroe County, 10 miles south of the Greater Rochester International Airport and just 20 minutes from downtown Rochester. Scottsville is easily accessed from Route 390 at Exit 11. Routes 383, 386, 251 and 253 also run through the Village of Scottsville. For specific directions, go to maps.google.com.scottsvilleny

We invite you to stroll our celebrated streets for a glimpse at a past resplendent with diverse architecture and structures. For a real treat, stop by the Scottsville Free Library. Formerly known as Windom Hall, the library continues to serve as a gathering place for the community.

A Recreational Mecca! Outdoor enthusiasts will revel in Scottsville’s natural riches! No matter the season, there’s something for everyone. Conveniently located adjacent to the NYS Greenway, trail lovers can hike, run, cycle, snowshoe, or cross-country ski for miles and miles.

Fishing for all ages! Flowing through downtown Scottsville is the renowned Oatka Creek where anglers can cast their lines into one of the top trout fishing streams in the state. New York Game & Fish calls Oatka Creek “premier trout water…” and puts the Oatka …”on every trout fisherman’s A-list.”
