Welcome to the Scottsville Main Street Improvement Study web page.

The Scottsville Main Street Improvement Study was started in February 2008 and is anticipated to be finished in the Fall of 2008. The purpose of the study is to provide a framework for revitalizing the Main Street Business District, including portions of Rochester Street, between Second Street and the Mill Race. A Strategic Plan for redevelopment will be prepared that incorporates and synthesizes economic development, urban design and marketing techniques to facilitate revitalization of the district. Members of the steering committee include Mayor Michael Souers, Trustee Chuck Bryant, Susan Church-Jamesson, Tom Foster, Sarah Kloos, Molly Cook, Wendy Marks, Elizabeth Murray and Carl Schoenthal.

Scottsville Main Street Study information including a community survey, minutes of the meetings, an aerial of the study area and the study schedule are included on this page.

Thank you for your interest in the Main Street study. Updates on the study will be posted on this page periodically.
